As Village for Vets has been rapidly growing, we thought it would be a great time to take a moment and introduce you to our team. Each and every person in our organization has a passion for helping Veterans and is dedicated to the cause of ending Veteran homelessness in Los Angeles and beyond. Mary McGuire | Executive Director

Mary has been with Village for Vets since 2018 and was promoted to executive Director in 2021. She has worked twenty plus years in the non-profit and government sectors to strengthen the systems that protect the most marginalized members of society, both in the United States and abroad. Rebecca Ricci | Program Director

Rebecca joined Village for Vets in 2022 and has over 15 years of experience working in community mental health non-profit agencies serving children, families and Veterans. Read more about Rebecca here.

Cathy Valentino | Director of Administration

Cathy joined Village for Vets in 2020 and previously worked as Marcie’s assistant and office manager at EDI before the company was sold to AC Nielsen. She has worked in the non-profit and volunteer arena for over 30 years. Read more about Cathy here.

Kara Gilbreath | Community Manager

Kara has been with Village for Vets off and on since 2018 and has a passion for collaborating with creative individuals and companies dedicated to creating social change. She has worked with many companies and non-profits doing inspiring work to help create a better world for her kids and future generations. Read more about Kara here.

Mena Santos | Street Academy Case Manager

Mena joined Village for Vets in 2022 and is passionate about helping others and learning about people’s life experiences and she has 7 years of experience working for various non-profits. Read more about Mena here.

Diana Garcia | Development & Administration Coordinator

Diana joined Village for Vets in 2022 and has worked as an Associate Producer for a national News station EstrellaTV. She has covered elections, political committees, and the global pandemic. Read more about Diana here.
