Free Dental Clinic Just for Veterans

September 10-16,2026

In partnership with the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California (USC), Village for Vets hosts biannual, week-long mobile dental clinics for underserved Veterans in Los Angeles. This year’s fall event will take place September 10-16 at the West Los Angeles VA in Parking Lot 7. Veterans must sign up in advance (see below). Our clinics serve on average over 120 Vets at each event and more than 1500 procedures are performed.

Unhoused and at-risk Veterans face significant and often chronic oral health conditions resulting from lack of access, dental insurance, and financial resources to pay for dental care. Many Veterans experience recurring, severe pain and infection after years of neglect that negatively impacts their ability to bite and chew food, as well as their health, and their overall quality of life. Our ongoing mobile dental clinics extend access to those who might otherwise go without care. Once the clinic ends, if additional work is required, the clinic dentists provide referrals so any work that has not been competed can be resolved.
